Doosan Bobcat EMEA Trade Compliance & Export Controls Pledge
Our commitment
Doosan Bobcat conducts business with integrity and in full compliance with applicable export controls, sanctions, and customs laws. We comply with the requirements of, among others, the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom and United Nations, and all other jurisdictions where we operate. This commitment applies to our employees, subsidiaries, dealers, distributors, suppliers, and other partners.
This policy applies to all trading activities including, but not limited to, products, parts, software, technology, services, data transfers, and financing or brokering activities in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) regions, including reexports and in-country transfers. It also applies to transactions conducted through third parties acting for or on behalf of Doosan Bobcat EMEA.
Our core controls are:
-
Restricted Party & Sanctions Screening – We screen customers, suppliers, intermediaries, and other counterparties against applicable sanctions and denied party lists and do not transact where a match or embargo applies, unless lawfully authorised.
-
Export Classification & Licensing – We classify our items under the relevant control lists and obtain licences or authorisations where required before any export, reexport, or transfer.
-
End Use & End User Diligence – We conduct reasonable diligence to prevent any restricted end uses/end users such as prohibited military, weapons of mass destruction, surveillance, and any other restricted conditions; we will decline or stop transactions that present unacceptable risk.
-
Territorial Restrictions & Embargoes – We adhere to country and regional embargoes and may suspend or cease business where legal changes create risk, consistent with prior industry actions.
-
Customs & Trade Compliance – We ensure accurate tariff classification, valuation, and origin, and truthful, complete declarations and documentation.
Third parties and our supply chain
Suppliers, dealers, distributors, and other partners must comply with applicable trade laws, perform screening and export control checks, and maintain records demonstrating compliance. We audit, request information, or suspend activity where concerns arise.
Training, governance, and reporting concerns
We provide role-appropriate training, maintain internal policies, procedures, and audits, and expect personnel and partners to report concerns or suspected violations via designated channels. Good-faith reports are promoted and protected from retaliation.
Consequences of noncompliance
Violations may result in disciplinary action, termination of relationships, and reporting to authorities, consistent with applicable law. We reserve the right to modify or suspend transactions to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
