ARTICULATING TRACTOR ATTACHMENTS

 There are many attachments you can use with a Bobcat® articulating tractor. This includes attachments for property maintenance, cleanup and seasonal work, such as: 

• Mowing and vegetation management tools (mowers, brush-cutting attachments) 
• Blades and brooms (cleanup, light grading, surface maintenance) 
• Snow tools (snowblowers, snow blades, snow pushers – availability varies by model) 
• Material-handling tools (buckets, forks and other options for moving loose material or bulky loads)

Always confirm an attachment is approved for your specific model and configuration before you connect it.  

To choose the right articulating tractor attachment, start by reviewing the list of approved, compatible attachments for your specific Bobcat® articulating tractor model. Then narrow your options based on how and where you work, including: 

• The task and finish level – mowing, cleanup, material handling or snow removal 
• Space constraints – working width, tight turns, gate access and overhead clearance 
• Ground and surface conditions – turf sensitivity, soft ground, slopes, mud or debris 
• Machine limits and connection needs – attachment weight and capacity, plus any auxiliary hydraulics or electrical connections

Many Bobcat® attachments are designed to work with Bobcat articulating tractors, but compatibility is not one-size-fits-all. Fit depends on the mounting interface, hydraulic requirements and the machine’s operating limits. Your authorized Bobcat dealer can confirm the correct match using your model and the attachment specs. 

The best articulating tractor attachments are the ones you’ll use most often. Many owners start with mowing and vegetation management tools, then add blades or brooms for cleanup and snow attachments for winter work. If you move material regularly, the right material-handling attachment can help keep every trip controlled and efficient. 

Articulating tractors cannot always use “universal” attachments. For example, Bobcat® articulating tractor attachments are built specifically to fit the AT450 mounting system and are not designed to fit Bobcat sub-compact, compact or utility tractors. Always confirm compatibility by machine model before you buy or rent. 

You should rent articulating tractor attachments when you need a specialty attachment for a jobsite task, seasonal usability or short-term coverage for one project -- a weekend rental.

You should buy articulating tractor attachments when an attachment will see frequent use and high utilization to provide long-term value across multiple jobs and reduce manual labor. 

To decide whether to rent or buy, consider how often you will use the attachment, the project timeline, storage and maintenance needs, and your overall equipment budget.

To set proper belt tension, use the belt adjustment handle to apply tension until you feel it engage, then increase it one additional notch to lock in the correct setting. 

1. Park on level ground, lower the attachment (if applicable), shut down the machine and remove the key. 
2. Pull the belt tension handle until you feel tension on the belt. 
3. Move the belt adjustment arm one notch higher. 
4. Double-check that the adjustment is fully seated before returning to operation.
