TELEHANDLER ATTACHMENTS

Telehandler attachments are machine-mounted tools that connect to a telehandler to expand the versatility of the machine with the types of jobs can be accomplished with the telehandler attachments. With the right attachment, a telehandler can lift and place palletized materials, move bulk material, handle hay or other agricultural loads, carry jobsite supplies, support site cleanup, specialized lifting tasks and more. • Space constraints – access points, tight work areas, overhead clearance and the reach you need 
• Ground and surface conditions – soft ground, slopes, mud, debris or uneven terrain 
• Machine limits and connection needs – load chart capacity at the required height/reach, attachment weight, and required hydraulic flow and pressure (if applicable)

The best telehandler attachments are the ones that match your most frequent loads and daily work. Many operations start with: 

• Pallet forks for routine material handling 
• A bucket for moving bulk material

From there, add application-specific tools like bale forks or spears, brooms or sweepers or snow attachments based on seasonal needs and the work you do most. 

Telehandlers can use some attachments that are compatible with other machines, but don’t assume it. Even if an attachment physically hooks up, compatibility depends on the mount style, hydraulic couplers, machine ratings and whether the attachment is approved for your model. Always verify fit and capacity impacts before using a “universal” attachment. 

You should rent telehandler attachments when you need a specialty attachment for a jobsite task, seasonal usability or short-term coverage for one project -- a weekend rental and to reduce storage and maintenance overhead. Like snow attachments, brooms and sweepers and auger attachments.

You should buy telehandler attachments when an attachment will see frequent use and high utilization to provide long-term value across multiple jobs and reduce manual labor. Like forks, grapples and material-handling attachments. If it’s only needed a few times a year, renting is usually the better call.
