High loading capacity at height, with large specimens

Cultivos Ponç has just acquired a Bobcat telescopic loader TL43.80HF AGRI for day-to-day tasks at its facilities. They were looking for a large loading capacity, at a height of 8 m, which is why this model turned out to be ideal.

The Bobcat TL43.80HF AGRI is the solution for heavy-duty, high productivity work. It is designed for intensive loading work, with unprecedented levels in terms of lift capacity, lifting height and break out force.

Ponç Carreras, the manager of Cultius Ponç, explains: “Working with telehandlers helps us to minimize the amount of time it takes to load the plants, as we load large plants using a crane, which is much slower. The Bobcat TL43.80HF AGRI handler has to access the selected specimen through the corridors of trees, operate between the trees without damaging them, load the specimen, transport it and then transfer it to the truck bed. We’re talking about moving plants and trees in confined spaces. We therefore need power combined with maneuverability in a compact machine.”

2.36 m wide with 460/70 R24 tires and less than 5 m long from the rear to the front of the fork and with a turning radius of 3.71 m, the TL43.80HF AGRI model meets all of these requirements.

Greater precision and enhanced visibility from the cab

The main advantage of this model compared to other machines for doing the same job is its exceptional precision, which it owes to the hydraulics and the 190 l/min pump. Its generous cab also stands out, with greater visibility than other manufacturers.

“The inside of the cab is very comfortable and features extensive equipment, and the control panel is highly intuitive and easy to use. We also like the “Ride Control” (suspension in the arm cylinders), which prevents material from falling onto the road when we are carrying a load, and the operator finds handling the machine more comfortable.

The HF (high flow) technology is a key feature of this model. With a 190 l/min load detection pump and a shared flow valve block, all of the movements can be combined. This is teamed with the patented Power Lift system that works like a hydraulic power unit to lift up to 4,300 kg without slowing down movement of the boom.

Versatile tool holder

By using various tools from other brands with which they were already working and which they have adapted perfectly, Cultius Ponç has been able to give the Bobcat telescopic loader TL43.80HF AGRI great versatility, since these are compatible with this model. They use the jib to load trees onto the truck, the pallet truck for loading and unloading pallets, a 2,500 l bucket for various land preparation and fertilization tasks, and a bagging bucket to load bags of soil.
