Automatic Ride Control

Posted: 8 June 2023

Automatic Ride Control (ARC) is a suspension system on a loader lift arms that offsets any terrain irregularities for a smoother and more comfortable ride with less worry about the transported load. It utilizes a hydropneumatic accumulator circuit to soften the reaction of the loader arms when crossing any type of obstacle. The Automatic Ride Control Feature is switched on automatically when a load is present on the attachment so you won't have to worry about spilling the transported material. When you take the load off the attachment or disconnect it completely, the workgroup becomes rigid again for maximum efficiency. ARC can also be toggled on and off manually by a simple press of a button inside the cab for those jobs where maximum precision and accuracy are more important than suspension. This feature is perfect for both experienced operators who need to be as efficient as possible, and for new operators who may need a little help when working in challenging environments.

Seamless reaction to obstacles

Automatic Ride Control includes a pre-programmed hydropneumatic accumulator fitted into the hydraulics, turning the whole lift arms system from fixed to flexible and significantly reducing material spillage when going over obstacles. The accumulator circuit is seamlessly integrated into the hydraulics system of Loader arms for a smooth response.

The help from Automatic Ride Control is always triggered at the right time when a load is detected in the bucket. No matter how fast or slow you drive your loader, the system helps you transport any material without spilling it on the job site, making it perfect for applications requiring more speed and work sites with a rough surface.

There are some jobs that require your loader to be as precise as possible. These jobs, such as stocking goods with a pallet fork or working with a breaker, require a very accurate lift of loader arms. For these instances, ARC can be switched off with a single press of a button without having to leave the cab. The controls are intuitive and easy to use.
