M3-Series: Durable Undercarriage System

You won’t find a tougher track system on the market. Every component is engineered for lasting durability, including steel embed tracks, forged steel idlers and solid-mounted drive motors and hydraulic hoses.

The undercarriage on M3-Series compact track loaders delivers excellent ride quality, tough construction, optimal productivity and impressive ground clearance. Every part of the track system is engineered for maximum uptime, so you can take on long days of challenging work. The forged steel idlers and steel imbed tracks are built for the longest-possible service life with minimal maintenance. Solid-mounted drive motors and hydraulic hoses are better protected from debris, snags, vibrations, rubbing, mud and sticks. And rubber track options provide a smooth ride without impacting your capabilities.

Features & Benefits

Improved Track Carriage Cleanout

The track-tensioning assembly allows for horizontal track tensioning, which improves the cleanout area as a result. This tensioning housing features a beveled frame to shed material out of the undercarriage as the loader operates throughout the day. Elevated sprockets shed mud and debris as you work, reducing wear.

Better Ride Quality

Steel idlers guide and support the track around the ends of the undercarriage. The dual-flange front idlers are wider, providing more contact with the tracks and absorbing shock loads, which results in a smoother ride and improved operator comfort.

Simple Maintenance

The idlers are also part of a simple system for maintaining track tension. When it’s time to adjust track tension, all it takes is a common grease gun. Idlers and rollers are permanently sealed and lubricated.

Solid-Mounted Strength

The Bobcat track undercarriage is a solid-mounted, fully enclosed design that protects components like hoses and drive motors. Solid-mounted undercarriages have fewer moving parts, which reduces maintenance in addition to stabilizing the loader and work group.

Exclusive Bobcat Tracks

Bobcat tracks provide the best combination of flotation and traction. Many available options allow you to select the track pattern that you need for the type of work you do.

Embedded Steel

Tough steel braces guide and support the track when engaging the drive sprocket. Steel-reinforced rubber tracks, designed exclusively for Bobcat, include internal steel cables for added strength.

On construction jobsites, you’ll appreciate the benefits of hydraulic performance when digging into a pile, where you’re pushing, lifting and tilting all at the same time.

Whether you’re in dairy, beef or crop production, hydraulic horsepower contributes to better performance when using multiple loader functions at once – like when loading manure or feed.
