Reliably Productive

Bobcat forklifts blend safety with productivity. Powerful LP or diesel engines ensure efficiency and quiet operation. Performance modes adapt to needs, while enhanced cooling prevents overheating. A floating cabin adds comfort, and IP65 connectors ensure reliability in tough conditions. Precise control comes from electronic inching, LEDs boost visibility, and TCU/VCU optimize performance. Shift Pro-Tek shields transmission during shifting. Optional tilt indicator aids load handling. These enhancements create a valuable asset for different operations.

Ergonomically Superb

Bobcat forklifts boast ergonomically superb features that prioritize operator comfort and ease of use. The seat-side hydraulic levers allow operators to conveniently control the machine's functions without having to stretch or strain. The low-effort foot pedal ensures smooth and effortless operation, reducing operator fatigue. A smaller steering wheel with a turning knob provides precise steering control while minimizing hand fatigue. The telescopic and tilting steering column allows operators to adjust the steering wheel to their preferred position, further enhancing comfort.

Ample legroom and increased headroom provide a spacious and comfortable working environment. The recessed tilt cylinders contribute to the machine's compact design while maximizing operator space. A high-comfort seat provides excellent support during long hours of operation, and the full-color LCD display offers clear and intuitive information on machine status and performance.

Additionally, a convenient tray is available for operators to keep essential items within easy reach. These ergonomically superb features collectively create a comfortable and user-friendly operating experience, promoting operator productivity and reducing the risk of discomfort or injury.

Smart VCU Functions

These forklifts are equipped with smart vehicle control unit (VCU) functions that enhance its performance and safety. The VCU controls various features, including the functions of the Guardian Stability System (GSS) that ensure optimal stability during operation. The Operator Sensing System (OSS) controls are also integrated into the VCU, providing efficient and responsive operator detection.

Safety features such as the seatbelt alarm and empty seat alarm promote operator compliance and prevent unauthorized usage. The VCU includes a water in fuel alarm, alerting operators to potential fuel contamination.

Additionally, a multi-performance mode indicator allows operators to easily identify the active performance mode. The VCU enables on-demand hydraulic control, adjusting the idle rpm for enhanced hydraulic performance.

The VCU also includes a planned maintenance reminder to ensure timely servicing and maintenance. Smart VCU functions contribute to the machine's efficiency, safety and overall performance.

Low Total Cost of Ownership

Bobcat lift trucks are designed to provide a low total cost of ownership by incorporating features that optimize scheduled maintenance intervals and reduce maintenance costs. The intervals for transmission oil and drive axle oil have been extended from 1,000 hours to 2,000 hours, while the engine oil change interval has been increased from 500 hours to 1,000 hours. This helps reduce the frequency of oil changes and associated maintenance expenses.

The forklift features a wide opening 80-degree engine cover, allowing for easy access to the engine compartment during maintenance tasks. Maintenance points are conveniently located and easily accessible, further streamlining servicing processes. A dual element air cleaner ensures efficient air filtration, reducing the risk of engine damage and extending the engine's lifespan.

Planned maintenance notifications alert operators and maintenance personnel to upcoming maintenance requirements, facilitating timely servicing, while onboard diagnostics provide valuable information on the machine's performance and health, enabling proactive maintenance and minimizing unexpected breakdowns. Tool-free access panels simplify maintenance procedures and reduce the time required for routine tasks.

These features collectively contribute to a lower total cost of ownership by minimizing maintenance expenses, optimizing maintenance intervals, and improving ease of maintenance for increased efficiency and productivity.

Oil-Cooled Disc Brakes

Bobcat forklifts come with a five-year, 10,000-hour warranty for their oil-cooled disc brakes (OCDB), providing peace of mind and assurance of their durability. OCDB is a standard feature on all IC pneumatic trucks, ensuring consistent and reliable braking performance.

The enclosed brake system of OCDB eliminates the risk of outside contamination, maintaining the brake's effectiveness over an extended period. With a service life five times longer than conventional shoe brakes, OCDB minimizes the need for frequent brake replacements, reducing downtime and maintenance costs. The greater stopping power of OCDB contributes to a safer work environment, enhancing operator and personnel safety.

OCDB are maintenance-free, further reducing the overall maintenance requirements and ensuring the machine remains operational for extended periods without interruptions. These features collectively provide operators with a reliable and long-lasting braking system that requires minimal attention, enhancing productivity and safety in various operational environments.
