How It Works

Operating Tips

  • Switch the breaker between compact loaders and compact excavators with an X-Change™ cap and the loader X-Change™ mounting frame. (The caps on the E145 or E165 are not compatible).
  • Breakers are very sensitive to hydraulic flow. Match the breaker model to the hydraulic flow of the machine for optimal performance. Too much flow will damage the breaker.
  • Don’t dry fire. Always have pressure on the tip of the breaker.
  • Common operating errors that put unnecessary strain on the working tool include prying material rather than breaking. Skidding while there’s down pressure on the breaker tool can cause unnecessary wear.
  • It is recommended to grease the breaker every two hours of operation to ensure breaker longevity. Without proper greasing, metal-to-metal contact between the tool and bushing will expedite component wear.
  • Checking and maintaining the nitrogen charge will ensure optimal performance.

Options & Accessories

Additional Details

The nitrogen breaker requires minimal maintenance and reduces wear on your carrier. Grease points are within easy reach which makes routine maintenance faster.  Its unique valve design reduces pressure fluctuations and strain on your carrier’s hydraulic pumps. And the single lower bushing simplifies repairs on the job.
