BISMARCK, N.D. (Aug. 25, 2025) – Bobcat Company, a global equipment, innovation and worksite solutions brand, in partnership with North Dakota’s Gateway to Science (NDGTS), will unveil a new, hands-on outdoor exhibit designed to spark curiosity and creativity in the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
This exhibit is part of NDGTS’s new Outdoor Explorium and was made possible through Bobcat’s sponsorship and engineering expertise. The one-of-a-kind exhibit features a functional Bobcat excavator arm – designed and built by Bobcat employees and interns – where young visitors can explore engineering, hydraulics and machine design. Visitors can turn wheels on the exhibit to move the excavator arm and dig with the bucket. It can be operated in two modes: manual and power assisted. The exhibit is designed to engage young visitors in real-world applications of STEM principles.
