Wide Cutting Area
With a cutting width of 12 to 15 feet, depending on the model, you can quickly tackle expansive brush mowing jobs. The 12-foot model will give you added performance in dense material, while the 15-foot model can tackle more light material in a single pass.
Rated for 3-Inch-Diameter Material
The Bobcat flex-wing rotary cutter is rated to clear material as thick as 3 inches in diameter*. Clear thick vegetation and tree growth with the flex wing rotary cutter.

Robust 160 hp/120 hp Gearboxes
Robust, heavy-duty gearboxes power the flex wing rotary cutter. The power divider in front delivers 160 horsepower; center and wing blade gearboxes are 120 hp to deliver ample power for tough cutting work.
½ x 4-Inch Blades With 8-Inch Overlap
The key to the flex wing rotary cutter’s brush-clearing capacity is its durable and efficient blade system. Its 8-inch blade overlap beats many competitive models and ensures a clean, consistent result across the entire cutting path.
10-Gauge Deck With Smooth Top Finish
Constructed from 10-gauge steel for maximum durability, the cutting deck has a smooth finish that allows for easy debris removal and cleanup.
Slip Clutch Protection
Blade hubs feature a slip clutch that absorbs energy from high-load collisions with obstacles, such as stumps or rocks, protecting drive components from damage or excessive wear.
Standard Turnbuckle Deck Adjustments With Dual Leveling Rods
Turnbuckle-style adjustments make it easy to adjust the cutter implement’s deck height and pitch for tailored material processing performance. The deck adjustments also make it easy to adapt the cutter for various tractor pairings.
Constant Velocity (CV) PTO Shaft
The constant velocity PTO shaft protects the PTO components and keeps rpm consistent during turns. An omnidirection joint allows the shaft to rotate freely for smooth operation. This reduces stress on the PTO shaft and prevents wear for long life. Because it helps to keep the PTO rpm at a constant velocity, it also helps to improve cutting performance.
Replaceable Skid Shoes
Bolt-on skid shoes allow for cutting depth adjustment – and they’re easily replaceable to simplify maintenance.
Spring Suspension
The spring ride suspension enhances durability by absorbing shocks and bumps from rough terrain. It also increases comfort on the tractor by absorbing shock from uneven terrain.
Standard Chain Guards
Chain guards help to contain debris during operation.
Stump Jumper
A standard 3/16 x 26-inch stump jumper helps the flex wing rotary cutter ride over terrain and obstacles and minimizes the potential for damage to drive components. Also called a rock jumper, this uptime-protecting feature is not included on many models from other manufacturers.
Standard Warranty
Rest easy with a 2-year Bobcat warranty on implements and a 5-year limited warranty on the gearboxes.
Swivel Tongue Assembly
The swivel tongue assembly is easy to manipulate during hookup, enabling one person to confidently attach the implement. It rotates during operation to follow contours and protect hitch and drawbar components from damage.

How It Works

The Flexwing Rotary cutter connects to the tractor’s drawbar. It relies on the tractor’s PTO shaft to transfer power to the cutter’s driveline.

When the tractor’s PTO is engaged, it spins the driveline, which transfers power through gearboxes to the spindles on the center deck and each wing. This then powers the blades to start spinning.

As the tractor moves forward, the spinning blades slice through vegetation. The free-swinging design reduces shock if they hit a solid object and slip clutches in the driveline protect the gearboxes and PTO from damage by allowing slippage under excessive load.

The wings are hinged and can float independently. This allows the cutter to follow the contours of uneven ground—ditches, hills, or ridges. This flexibility ensures a consistent cut across varied landscapes and prevents scalping or leaving patches uncut.
Required Components
The following components are required to operate this implement:
- Compatible Bobcat utility tractor with appropriate PTO power rating
- The CFW15 requires a second pair of rear remote hydraulics (Float style recommended)
